Agile development applies rock bands

The idea of Lean Startup seems closely related to Agile development: quick iterations, fast feedback, lessons learned.

That’s how I began.

most startups fail not because of technology, but a lack of customers
We started to think of code that had been written but is not yet in customers’ hands as a kind of inventory. And having excess inventory leads to all the problems of traditional software development. Things don’t integrate, conflicts don’t get resolved, ideas grow stale.
A lot of the software that I wrote in those days got thrown away, because, as it turned out, I had built a lot of features that customers didn’t want. That’s the ultimate wasted effort.

Each iteration leads to a pivot in which the company systematically changes some part of the vision to adopt to reality.

These wise sayings fit rock bands. Go agile.
