Mayor of Inagi Mr.Ishikawa is a very clear person

Verdy Tokyo is a Japanese football club with a long and distinguished history. Inagi-shi is their hometown. The mayor gave an interview on the reception of Verdy's returning plan from their crisis against bankruptcy. He said:

  • She feels somehow small to Verdy 'cos she doesn't own a stadium for their professional football games.
  • She invested her money in Verdy all right, but it's only twenty thousands JPY. (about 2000.00 USD)
実に理性的な考え方で、筋としてはその通りなのだろうけど、もうちょっとずうずうしく突っ込んでもいいのではないかと思う。なんたって、東京Ｖの所在地は稲城市なのだ。全国に３７しかないＪクラブのおひざ元である。
「遠慮というかね、われわれにも弱点があるんです。最大の要因は、市内にＪリーグの試合を開催できるスタジアムを持っていないこと。味の素スタジアムがあるのは調布市で、ＦＣ東京さんに出資しています。やはり、その点は大きいですね。『稲城市は東京Ｖのホームタウンですよね』と尋ねられれば、『そうですよ』とお答えします。しかし、本当のところはホームタウンだと胸を張って言い切れるだけの十分な材料を持っていません。地元で育て上げたチームではなく、川崎市からの移転という経緯があり、出資しているといっても２０万円ですから。稲城は人口８万４０００人の小さな市で、動員力でも多大な貢献は難しい。よって、ヴェルディさんに対して、われわれがどうこう要求するのはおこがましいといいますか、慎重にならざるを得ないんです」

  • Texts are under Creative Commons License.

単純に電子化というだけなら、PDFにしておしまいでもありだよね。でもそれじゃ自炊するのと何も変わらないじゃん。この本の内容は、本の未来について様々な提言を行っているよね。じゃ、それ全部実現しない！？

おぉ、それだそれだ、それでいこう。という具合に話がまとまって、そこからはトントン拍子。だけどそこには、既存の出版社やいままでの著者の方だったら、絶対に同意しないだろうというものもあった。でもそこは、相談したらあっさりご快諾いただけた。やっぱりこうじゃないとな！ビジネスモデルだのリスクだの議論する前に、まずはあるべき姿を提示して、それに近づけていかないと。

現段階で電子書籍が「こうあるべきだ」と思われるものを、全部入れてみた。このうちのいくつかは、今後当然のものになるかもしれないし、なくなってしまうかもしれない。ただそこで手をこまねいて議論しているよりも、ものを作ってみないと分からないこともある。だからこうして形にして世に出して、意見を問うてみたい。

I had learned Kyokushin Karate here for two years. Adults treated me so kindly. I still deeply appreciate their kindness.

The master invited me to watch child class today. The scene moved my heart. I was here with today's master when he was just a fourteen-aged boy.
