How to downgrade Firefox 6 to 5 on your Mac and solve 1Password add-on issue

Firefox 6 for Mac always crash with Facebook, Google+ and almost of all Web-app pages. Buggy JavaScript engine? Confrict with other add-ons? I'm not sure. Anyway I simply dumped it and reinstalled FF5. As a result, 1Password extension for FF5  3.8.0.BETA-1 got worse. Solution is here.

  1. move OnePassword.sqlite from where it locates in ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/
  2. Go to 1Password and select the Help > Troubleshooting > Restart Agent menu
  3. Restart FF5.

Yes, I'm a one of them who found those goodies, and I agree. If you're using FileVault, you have never been blessed with its power to save you. But those days were gone, my friends. Now we can restore each file in our encrypted home directories with OS X 10.7 Lion.
